The Sabbat Strikes Back

With a large influx of new vampiric soldiers and the Prince away from the city, the beginning of the night was a bit chaotic. Seneschal Jinx was quick to call everyone to order and remind everyone of the continuing problems with the Sabbat and the "blood hunt" on Eirik Alexson of Philadelphia. The Black Rose is a nightclub in Provo and is known as a Sabbat meeting place, due to the interrogation of Ty. Jinx orders everyone to go to the club, find any vampires within and destroy them. One if the new Brujah to the city introduces himself to Jinx and lets he know that someone is trying to kill her. He volunteers to guard her and she accepts.

Next Game January 21, 2017

A New Domain

The snow did not keep Orem's vampires at home. Meeting formally for the first time since kicking out the Sabbat, the steadfast vampires of the Camarilla set to work establishing a strong base to deal with the ongoing problems. The Sabbat may not have any strongholds in Orem, but they still hold Provo firmly in their clutches. Toreador, Trent Sparrow was quick to claim praxis. No one opposed him. Prince Sparrow immediately declared that Eirik Alexson of Philadelphia is hereby "blood hunted" in the domain of Orem, Utah "for the crimes of snubbing artistic exploits and of acting in a philistinian manner, as well as laying insults upon clan Toreador."

First Game January 7, 2017

The first game will be January 7, 2017 at 6PM at the Dragon's Keep in Orem, 48 West 300 North. If you are planning on joining us without signing up for a free six month membership at Mind's Eye Society, or contacting the storyteller, you can still play. Only, I ask that you please arrive at the Dragon's Keep at 5PM to make a character. The Storyteller will be available with the rule book to help you out. The game ends at 10pm.
If you don't know what you want to play, that's okay too. The Storyteller will bring some pre-generated characters for you to choose from. We hope to see you there.

No costume is required, vampires are trying to blend in with mortal society. However, costumes aren't discouraged either. You must be 18 years old or older to play, as Vampire: The Masquerade deals with adult themes.

What Rules?

I have had some questions about which rules the game will be using. Excellent question and I can't believe I didn't mention it before. The game will be run using By Night Studios excellent "Mind's Eye Theatre Vampire the Masquerade" rule book. The cover looks like this:

There will be books available at the game to use to draw up your character, so there is no need to purchase your own copy at this time. If you do want to purchase this book, please check you local gaming store, like the Dragon's Keep, before purchasing it online. Local game stores keep our hobby alive. Thank you.

Vampires are coming to Orem.

A live action Vampire: The Masquerade game is starting January 7, 2017 in Orem, UT. Hosted by the Dragons Keep at 48 West 300 North. Games will be Saturday nights 6pm to 10pm.

Have you ever wondered what is was like to be an immortal monster driven by bloodlust, but fighting to keep a shred of your humanity? Can you survive and thrive in a complex society hidden from mortal eyes?

The game will be a Camarilla/Anarch setting in the Mind's Eye Society setting. You must be 18 or older to play.
